1980's

Michael Jackson otherwise known as the king of pop stated out in a band called " The Jackson 5"with his other brothers but began his solo career in 1971 and started to become popular in the 1980's. His album "Bad" was the first album to have 5 singles on the billboard hot 100 and his album "thriller" is the best selling album of all time. He also won 13 Grammy awards, the Grammy legend award, the Grammy lifetime achievement award and 26 American music awards which is more then any other artist. However, unfortunately He passed  away in 2009 of cardiac arrest.

1990's

Celine Dion is a Canadian singer, songwriter, businesswomen and actress. She started off her career by coming out with French albums in the early 1980's but it was in the 1990's when she became a very successful artist.  She ended up being one of the most successful in her career.

1950's

Elvis Presley otherwise known as the king was one of the most popular artists along side Michael Jackson.  He also was drifted into the military after his album "love me tender" and he was featured in the first cast globally concert but his career cam to a short when he passed away at the age of 42 from drugs that destroyed his body from over the years.  Presley had songs like " Hound dog" and" white Christmas".
